FAMILY PHOTOS

It’s not the most exciting part of the day, but you may want to think about how you’d like to organise your formal family photos. These usually take place immediately after the ceremony, with different combinations of family. Regardless of whether you love or hate your family dynamics, you’ll want to ensure this time is handled quickly and efficiently.

For the family photos, please supply us with a list of names and groups you would like taken, this ensures we don’t miss anybody, and get them done in good time.

You may think you won’t need a list and you can wing it on the day, but take it from us, every little thing you can do to make this part of your day go that little bit smoother, the longer and more relaxed your official location photos will be and it will ensure you’re back at your reception on time!

And another important tip is to assign someone who knows your family to help coordinate these photos with us.

WEDDING DAY SCHEDULE

To ensure your day goes silky smooth and you get the best from us (your photographers), we highly recommend supplying us with a schedule of the day, including locations/addresses and times. Be sure to allow enough time for everything to flow nicely throughout the day.

EXAMPLE WEDDING DAY SCHEDULE

1:00 Photographer arrives during the last hour when the bride and bridal party have their hair and makeup done.
2:00 Ceremony begins (2 Penny St, Main Beach)
3:00 Bridal Party and Family leave ceremony
3:15 Family photos begin (4 Jons Rd, the Spit)
3:45 Family photos finish
4:15 B & G photos begin
5:00 Reception begins (68 Bens Cafe, Main Beach)
5:30 B & G Arrive at Reception MC introduce
6:00 Call to take seats by MC
6:10 Welcome
6:15 Entree served
6:40 Speechers Part 1/Telegrams
7:00 Main Meal served
7:30 Speeches Part 2/ Telegrams
8:00 Dessert served
8:30 Cake Cutting/First Dance
10:00 Call for B & G to leave (gone by 10:15)
